33 businesses found to be at risk of Legionnaires disease in the Hinkley area

Out of 33 businesses in the Hinkley Borough considered to be at risk of housing the legionella bacteria which causes Legionnaires disease only half  have evidence of having sufficient programmes in place to prevent an outbreak, the rest will now undergo health and safety inspections over the coming months as part of a priority project set up by the health and safety enforcement (HSE), to control the disease.
